  • Pre purchase invasive weed surveys, covering species such as Japanese Knotweed, Himalayan Balsam, Giant Hogweed, Variegated Yellow Arch Angel, Cotoneaster and Montbretia as well as others covered by the Wildlife and Countryside Act
  • Production of Invasive Weed Management Plans to satisfy planning conditions
  • Problematic weed survey for plant species such as Field Horse Tail (Mares Tail) allowing for the management of these species to be included within the overall development plan and site remediation and earth works strategy
  • Inspection for plant species covered by the Weeds Act 1959 such as Ragwort of Creeping thistle so that effective management of these species can be implemented
  • General vegetation management to include tree and scrub removal and site clearance and on-going herbicide application to manage regeneration of vegetation material
  • Control of moss and algae in hard surfaces
  • Management of wildflower areas from ingress of less desirable plant species and end of season
  • Budget costings at pre purchase stage

Working closely with developers and land buyers we aim to provide them with cost effective advice and solutions on invasive and problematic weed species and vegetation management, from pre-purchase planning and budgets, through to effective implementation of management plans to satisfy release of planning conditions and allow for seamless hand over and adoption of completed sites.

Our work with existing land owners can help prevent sites becoming overgrown allowing managed access for potential purchasers and surveyors as well as helping to manage potential longer term environmental issues and prevent them from taking hold.

In conjunction with a clients ecological advisors we are also able to undertake on going management of environmental and wildflower areas to maintain these locations as intended and help prevent ingress from less desirable plant species.
